Google Wave and Seven-White

Why does Tom keep on bringing this up?

Easier/Instant e-Communication
  • When you send a message (or wave) using Google Wave, it automatically sends/receives itself...you don't have to touch anything.
  • When you send an e-mail using Outlook, you have to wait for the recipient to press Send/Receive before they are even aware of the message.

  • If you want multiple people to receive your message in Google Wave, all you have to do is drag their name into the message.
  • If you want multiple people to receive your message in Outlook, you have to click on To and find their name, click add, waste your time.

  • If you want to add another person to your series of messages (or waves), all you have to do is drag their name into the message.
  • If you want to add another person to your series of messages in Outlook, you have to Forward the appropriate message to the right person.

  • In Google Wave, all of your responses are located in the same message (or wave). You can see everybody's responses.
  • In Outlook, you have to constantly Reply back and forth to send multiple messages.

SEND FILES QUICKLY AND EASILY

  • In Google Wave, all you have to do to send a file is drag that file into the message (or wave).
  • In Outlook, you have to click on the little paper clip and select add file. Then find the folder that the file is located in and click OK. If you want to add more than one file, you have to do that same process over and over and over again.

UPDATE YOUR BLOG FROM GOOGLE WAVE (they are still working on this part)
  • Once Google completes their "Bloggy," you can update your blog as easily as making a wave.
...AND THERE IS SO MUCH MORE!!!

Let's look at this in action...

Let's look at this a little closer...
