HAPPY 2010 EVERYBODY!
Welcome Back!

Welcome to "The Great Paperless Experiment"
1. Let me explain how this whole "paperless experiment" is going to work
-This website is the "homebase" for the Europe Unit. It will give you the directions, along with access to each of the assignments.
-I found a website that will allow me to store the files for free, but the catch is that you have to go to the site to download the file. Click here to see an example of what the webpage looks like.
-Please stick with me, this is the first time I've done this so there will be problems.
-Also, please pay attention to how loud you talk. Mrs. Boni is letting us use these computers because she is super-nice and we don't want to interrupt her.
2. Watch an introductory Europe Video.
-This video introduces us to the culture and geography of Europe.
-We're in a library, so please make sure to keep your volume low.
3. Like usual, we're going to start with a map. Click on this link to download the Europe Map
-Here are a few Europe Maps you can use to complete the map. Europe Map #1, Europe Map #2, and Europe Map #3
-After you finish your map save it as (YourName)EuropeMap in StudentZone -> Boyk -> 8thHour.
4. After you finish the map, complete the Europe Map Questions. If you don't get a chance to finish the questions, the Europe Map Questions are your homework.
-Use your maps along with the websites to finish the Europe Map Questions. If you don't have internet access at home, please tell me so I can give you a paper copy of your homework.
5. If you finish your homework, check out CNN Student News.
-Quite a few things happened over Winter Break and CNN Student News does a good job recapping all the events.
-Again, please pay attention to the volume.
